Hollow-Handle Gracey Curette Set – Blue – 7-Piece is designed for area-specific subgingival scaling, root planing, plaque and calculus removal, and periodontal debridement across anterior and posterior tooth surfaces. Included instruments are listed separately: 1) Gracey Curette 1/2 for anterior teeth; 2) Gracey Curette 3/4 for anterior teeth; 3) Gracey Curette 5/6 for anterior teeth and premolars; 4) Gracey Curette 7/8 for facial and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth; 5) Gracey Curette 9/10 for facial and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth; 6) Gracey Curette 11/12 for mesial surfaces of posterior teeth; and 7) Gracey Curette 13/14 for distal surfaces of posterior teeth. The thin, sharp, double-ended working tips support precise adaptation and controlled deposit removal. A blue titanium coating provides durable, scratch-resistant contrast for improved working-end visibility. Each instrument is manufactured from corrosion-resistant AISI 420 stainless steel and fitted with a lightweight, textured hollow handle for ergonomic grip and reduced hand fatigue.
The instruments are reusable and designed to withstand a large number of autoclave sterilization cycles when properly maintained.
Recommended Sterilization Procedure:
1. Thoroughly clean the instruments before sterilization. Do not use metal brushes, as they may damage the instruments’ surfaces.
2. Immerse the instruments in an appropriate sterilizing solution according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After soaking, rinse them thoroughly with running water and dry them completely.
3. Sterilize the instruments in an autoclave at 134°C in accordance with standard sterilization protocols.
